About Us

Seaworthy Surveys are located at Po Chong Wan, Industrial Estate, Shum Wan Road, Aberdeen Harbour, Hong Kong. Our Mission as Independent Marine Surveyors is to conduct inspections, surveys or examinations of marine vessels, i.e. "Houseboats, Small Craft & Pleasure Vessels, Barges, Super Yachts, Yachts & Cargo Ships".

Our company act on behalf of insurance companies, legal entities, companies and individuals.

Surveys include Hull and Machinery, P&I, Investigations into Marine Casualties or Marine Incidents, Pre-Purchase Surveys, Valuations and Condition Surveys; to report on their condition and inspect damage caused to both vessels and cargo.

Goals

To provide a professional service to the marine industry within the code of conduct afforded to marine Surveyors.

Membership of The Royal Institution of Naval Architects is predicated upon sound knowledge of the structure, safety of ships and knowledge of the IMO international conventions associated with the marine Industry.

Marine COnsulting

IAssist boat owners with their concerns regarding repairs, refits and status as to the condition of their vessels.

Care of the Environment

The air and the ocean are precious not only to human life but to the biota and general well-being of the planet. Surveys check vessels against MARPOL, SOLAS etc Conventions that contribute to an harmonious planet.

Marine Safety & Casualty/Incident Investigations

Collision Regulations, FSS, ISM, Load lines and SOLAS are the contributors to the safety of the ship and crew at sea.
